To help smallholders in Uganda’s refugee settlements experience greater self-reliance by strengthening all aspects of the value-chain for locally important crops.

W H A T W E D O ?
We work within a protracted humanitarian context, supporting local smallholders to harvest quality crops which we buy at premium prices and manufacture into quality foods for the local market.

This market-based approach tackles the impact of dwindling aid, helps smallholders capture fairer prices for their improving yields, and drives improvements in local crop handling & food processing standards.
